He'd have nothing but contempt for Judge Moore and his ilk. There's a wonderful verse from Proverbs that I love to quote to all of the hard-hearted, mean-spirited, judgmental, self-righteous, sanctimonious, holier-than-thou, it's- the-poor's-own-fault-and-the-hell-with-them fundie wingnut types:

"He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God." Proverbs 14:31

2. As a liberal, progressive Christian (yes, we do exist,

in more numbers than you might think!), I hope I get the god I believe in! But I see your point, and that would, indeed, be perfect poetic justice, especially as far as the wingnut fundie nutballs are concerned! I think they're going to be in for a mighty rude awakening and unpleasant surprise!
