1. i think it's crap
seriously...the really think anyone in the audience could have any empathy for that whining, babe-in-the-woods, deer-in-the-headlights half-wit of an Allie McBeal knock-off?!

It's terrible, and the ethnic stereotyping of the bit parts is just offensive.

Worst CBC since King of Kensington.

2. Oh, now you're knocking the KING!
I only saw 20 minutes of it so I'll watch for that ethnic thing you're talking about. The one thing I did notice is whoever writes for it has no experience with the Canadian legal system.

4. yeah

Ditto that on the lead character. We watched about three, expecting it to tone down a bit after the opening salvos, but it didn't.

I was a huge fan of Street Legal (the two male leads were modelled on Toronto lawyers I knew very well) and Due South (both of which on constantly in rerun on BBC Canada now), ENG, even Night Heat (a cop show always with a pretty overt lefty message, like about block-busting developers and such, that for some reason was on in midnight rerun on US network stations for years too). All of them were A-list. I've drifted away from DaVinci's Inquest for some reason.

But Wonderland sucks, which is unfortunate, since the content is interesting, and it even has Street Legal's Leon Rabinovitch (David Peterson); it's the characters who are insufferable.

5. I'm afraid I've gotta go with Amok on this.
There's a stench emanating.

3. I've watched it a bit
Legal shows aren't really my cup of tea, but it looks like a good show. BTW, Cara Pifko got her start as a little girl on The Elephant Show with Sharon, Lois, and Bram. She's a real natural.
