2. No. Sometimes it take two or three hours to wear off...
Now for me, it's been two full weeks since I had dental surgery to remove a root fragment and a cyst and to have two bone grafts. My stiches are out and I'm healing nicely, but I still don't have any feeling in my gums directly over the two teeth involved... I'm concerned even thought the endodonist told me that I would be a year recovering...
Naw I'm just messing with you! That stuff can last a long time. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled, I didn't even know I had a line of drool running down my chin for about two hours after I was done because I couldn't feel it. You'll gradually start to feel better, but you won't be back to normal until tomorrow. Just relax and take it easy for the night.
5. yeah takes longer to wear off if they dosed you more heavily. . .
If you want to experience one of the stranger sensations of your lifetime, go an get an ice cream cone. Did that once with half a numbed tongue and was so-o-o strange. Could sort of feel the texture but not the temp. Try if and you'll laugh I swear.
