DU Convention Photos -- Day 4 -- Lots of DU Party Photos!

Tuesday was awesome -- the best day yet this week. Ramsey invited us to the Emily's List lunch at the Boston Convention Center. The three keynote speakers Sen. Barbara Mikulski (MD), Gov. Ann Richards (TX), and Gov. Jennifer Granholm (MI). They were all really great.

Tuesday evening was the Big DU Party at Clery's. We had the absolute *best* time. We had a great turnout -- probably 30 people. Everyone was super friendly and really enthusiastic. It made me so proud to be a part of this amazing community. We had a room all to ourselves, where we could eat, drink, talk, and watch the convention on TV. I can't think of a better way to experience the Democratic convenention, hanging out with friends, cheering for the speakers. (OMG, wasn't Obama incredible?) Overall, it was a huge success!

I want to apologize in advance if I forgot some of your names, or if I got some of your names wrong on the photos below. Please let me know if I have incorrectly named anyone in these pictures so I can fix the problem.

Not sure about Skinner, but EarlG can indeed play (as can Nalinee). He played his CD for us extremely late Tuesday night and either it was totally awesome or I was pretty wasted. Or both. Probably both.

And to whoever said Tamieka is fine: dude, she's utterly blazing hot. So're Amy and Shelly. Wicked cool, too. But they have boyfriends. Actually I think Shelly's married or something.

Oh yeah, and the Wendy fans! We ended up at Clery's again Thursday night, purely by accident, and there was Wendy again. She ended up coming over for after-hours when her shift was over. She's a really nice person.

but I *did* get into Barack Obama's party Tuesday night, so I hope you'll forgive me. I wasn't about to leave the convention hall early, either.

I hope there'll be some excuse for a big get-together in Seattle sometime soon. I was way too busy in Boston to meet anybody, or see any kind of tourist stuff. I'm still trying to recover from the sleep deprivation, but I wouldn't trade a second of it!
