Any free email service permitting large messages?

I have a free Yahoo account which allows messages no larger than 2 MB. A friend wants to send me some large files, each of which are between 15 and 25 MB. Even if I upgrade to Yahoo "Plus" for $20/year, the maximum size for a message is still 10 MB.

Is there a solution? I checked with hosting companies too and, while you can order packages with lots of space for email, they all seem to limit each individual message to 2 MB.

I know this isn't really a "DU" type of posting, but people here seem to know everything!

you can send files through it, much like you Instant Message text.

edit: Computer questions are common place in the Lounge.
