What Perfume, Essence Or Cologne Do You Wear?
I wear Sandalwood and have never been fond of wearing floral scents (I like florals on the actual flowers).

But yesterday I got my first "taste" of a perfume called ANGEL by Thierry Mugler.

Someone behind me in line had it on and just as I was turning to ask her what it was... the woman behind HER asked what that perfume was.

It is truely heavenly.

Vanilla, Sandalwood and Patchouli with a touch of CHOCOLATE!

No wonder that perfume smelled so delicious :)

It costs $60 an ounce so it's going to have to be a birthday present.

What do you all wear?

it will get to be way too popular very soon.

I like Pleasures from Estee Lauder and

China Lily from Terra Nova.

I buy it in bulk - there's a gallon jug of it in my bathroom cabinet. I wouldn't want to use it as shampoo, though - I bet it'd dry my hair out something awful...

27. For those 'occasions' ...
Edited on Thu Aug-12-04 08:54 PM by nownow
Alfred Sung's 'Shi.'

But Mr. Nownow and I just discovered Demeter Fragrance Library, it's a line of colonge/fragrance designed to smell like 'real world' stuff.

I like the Ginger Ale scent a lot. He just bought a bottle of Tomato tonight. It smells like a tomato plant, not just like a tomato. It's hard to explain -- it really is interesting.

I recommend if you see this stuff in a store, have a whiff -- it really does smell like the things it says it smells like. They have a whole line, though I guess most stores don't have all the different varieties -- there's one called Sex On The Beach, one called Cosmopolitan, and one (I don't want to know what it smells like) called Cotton Candy.

I've been wearing the Ginger Ale lately. It's kind of neat.

34. WOW! Water lily, fig leaves, lush blossoms, musk, and silver birch
this is one of the m ost esoteric blends I've heard of.!

This is great... am making a list of some more interesting sounding fragrances and will go on an adventure trying to test them all.''

And the Fragrance Library sounds interesting... though the smell of tomato plants when I rub against mine in the graden is NOT pleasant to me at all.

Shi Perfume by Alfred Sung perfect balance of water lily, fig leaves, lush blossoms, musk, and silver birch

37. The Shi really is very nice.
Only thing is, I have a bottle of perfume, not cologne. It's hard not to overdo it -- I'm so used to cologne, it's easy to put too much on.

I can't recall who makes it...it's not one of those expensive ones though. I don't have expensive tastes in perfumes.

I also like the "Healing Garden" line..."Lavender Therapy", "Tangerine Therapy" and "Jasmine Therapy". I have the body sprays and some of the other things like body oils, bath salts, scented candles, etc. They smell really nice and can be relaxing.

Cinnamon, Amber, Vanilla, Patchouli - individually or in some combination - pure oils only - I have big-time allergies to synthetics.

I'm with you on the florals.

I wonder what they add for the chocolate notes in that perfume.
