Anyone want to come rafting with me this Saturday?
Heading out for a few hours on the Colorado River Saturday - I've been out five times since my wife passed away in early June, grieved hard each and every time. Thinking it would be easier if someone else was around. Hmmmm, maybe not, but...whaddya say?

4. Whereabouts are you?
A friend of mine just got into rafting, finished her first week-long outing.. but she's in Montana. I'm in Virginia. Sounds like a lot of fun, though.

How're you doing, BigBigBear? How's the new house?

3. I too am sorry to hear about your wife's passing.
The outdoors has always helped me. Wish I lived near ya, I'd be ready to go anytime. I've only been whitewater rafting once, but it was the most fun I've had in my life. Always wanted to go again, but for some reason, I never have. Someday.

I hope you find someone to go with you. It's fun to share things like that with others.

5. It's a 16 mile stretch
about 140 miles WNW of Denver. Karin and I went out there alot together.

She was my rafting partner - trying to learn how to love the sport again, alone. I have a weeklong solo trip planned for myself in late September, that will be a real test.

Flaxbee - the new place is a mess, doesn't feel like home yet. Probably won't for some time.
