BOCARONES & VINEGRA
i was given a recipe while in Spain, which is really small fresh anchovies. The only substitute here in USA is smelts. Can anyone tell me when the smelts are running, or are in season?

Thank you for the info on smelts, I have occasionally found them frozen from the Great Lakes region, but not anymore.
