You a research type or a debater?
I confess, I can't debate for shit, no I am not dissing myself, I know I can't debate, I get pissed, and I curse, etc, this is one of the many reasons why I don't have political aspirations but basically my question is do you prefer to debate people or just research the facts on stuff. I do the latter, its easier and I don't have to risk looking like an asshole. I really lost my cool last night with my brother whos political views are growing disturbing, now being pro life doesnt bother me really but I found out how pro life he really was, and its disturbing, but I think he was messing around because I don't see how my parents could have raised that, I think he's just parroting his friend, the same one who parroted that nonsense about Kerry hurting himself on purpose for a purple heart. Sorry for the detraction but basically do you like to debate and get in people's faces or do you like to google, etc and pass it on to a skilled debator and use that. I do the latter because its my skill, and it doesnt involve make me risk getting infuriated at the irrational arguements some have.

2. it does work but I just get really pissed
I do debate, don't get me wrong but I'd rather be the one who gives the big info to the person who can debate, then they use my info and press it on to the debated. I guess this is why I quit the debate team as a freshman, I didn't like it really.

7. Researcher.
That's why I like text communications. It gives me a chance to assemble my thoughts and present them coherently.

I get frustrated with verbal communications because I find, if a subject is hotly debated, NO ONE can make a point, and the flow of information becomes blocked. It no longer becomes an information exchange and instead becomes a contest of who wins and who looses, with volume being more important that accuracy.
