I caught it last night I thought the whole thing was great, although it seems like either poor Johnny is hoarse from speaking so much, or he may have a cold.
Anyways the best thing I heard him say was "I've been through worse" in regards to the smear that is going on him.
This to me signifies that he is not threatened and he most likely has a nasty surprise for The Connecticut Cowboy come debate time or something else in the near future.
I just can't see him being a very good debater. Did he make himself look like a fool, or did the media spin it so that he seemed warm and cheery in comparison to Gore? I can't remember anymore...
7. Everyone expected a bloodbath at the Gore/Bush debates
but the media acted as if Bush won despite his "fuzzy numbers" and other bullshit.
I agree, Kerry will probably rock Bush's world. And Edwards will be his usual pleasant self while Cheney foams at the mouth like a rabid old bulldog. It would be a friggin dream to see Cheney drop the F bomb on national TV!
and I bet Vietnam was worse than this bullshit. Even when he came back and took on Nixon and the Republicans to end the war.
10. Well here's what I personally think blew it for Gore

Now I only watched a few moments of one debate okay I was 19 and stupid I didn't care I have gradually gotten involved into politics so cut me some slack here.
The one thing I do remember is that Gore was visibly cocky and confident. This is a major turn off especially to regular blue collar Joe Blow what have you who has no taste for those "damn intellects who think they know everything" and this is where Bush shined because he came off as one of the guys! hey! I get drunk I get C's you can trust me I'm like you!!
So basically Kerry has to attack and attack hard. He has to look confident and determined not confident and cocky.
And I think Johnny K does NOT need me to tell him this he knows this and that's why I look forward to watching every last second of every debate.
I am liking him more each time I see him. He was so normal and human and friendly and genuine (like Edwards is as well) compared to those other reptilian slithering monsters.
He has Got to win, otherwise it's Hello, Helena Handbasket.
