Good signs in Raleigh NC!!!
After all these polls that have come out that have freaked some on DU out about Kerry losing the lead (or whatever) on my way home, I purposefully looked for president bumper stickers.

Note, at best in previous elections here in NC, I saw a 50/50 split.

Yesterday, I saw 11 Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers to a SINGLE Bush sticker. 11 to 1!!!

Now, many would say, yeah, but those others are just not putting the stickers on their car - but that shows me another very important thing:
The democrats are motivated, and everyone knows, the ones who are more motivated are the ones who take the election!!

Woohoo!!!

1. See approximately same
ratio in Chapel Hill....although, unfortunately, Chapel Hill is by no means a microcosm of NC

2. I also saw 1 sticker that said
"Businessmen for Kerry".

Thought that was cool...

3. Hey, you may have seen mine!
I saw one on Capital Blvd that said "nothing accomplished". And you're right, I've noticed much fewer dubya stickers this year.

4. nope - didn't see yours!
Most were Kerry/Edwards except for 2 - the businessmen for Kerry and a plain 'Edwards' one (which I counted for Kerry/Edwards for obvious reasons)

Plus - one yard sign on my street!!!

5. Va. route 58 Va route 58
I have said this over and over (and have sent e-mails telling them that)-Kerry AND Eswards need to spend all of tow days on Rt. 58 and swing into North Carolina, Tenn., and WV. They can take two of those three states by simply showing up. NO ONE ever pays attention to that part of Va and it will play big time across the rural south and midwest.

Good to hear mrbob
