Just like after a really good shit. The RNC is over. This week is over. And soon, America's nightmare will be over.

Ahhhhh. Sweet relief.

1. Me too, how much do I love that Code Pink inturupted *
Go girls go!

We can do this, the RNC was awful. Same crap different day, everything this week has made them look bad. Zell, the Twins, the podium, the protests, Sept. 11, Sept. 11,Sept. 11, I love it.

2 More Months!

2. Hallelujah !
I think the reason I was so sound down the past couple of weeks is because I knew the Really Nightmarish Convention was just around the corner . It went by fast in my opinion . I did not watch any of it .

2 more months , 2 more months and our battle will be won ...

4. Is it just me or did Bush look scared crapless
when Code Pink arose before him?

It was beautiful!

5. That was the best moment of humiliation for Shrub thus far .
The next one will come on November 2 ... He looked like he wanted Uncle Dick to come and save him . And the way the news outlets hyped up his speech . Especially Karen Hughes who I saw on CNN earlier during the day - the speech contained NOTHING NEW !

oh goodness I can not wait for Election Day ...

6. I am actually looking forward
to every day Kerry and Edwards campaign like they did tonight. Now, for me, THAT was inspiration. Their vision is something I can bust my ass for. Wife and I agreed to reach into our meager resources and pull out some more bucks for Kerry/Edwards.

We'll eat beans until November if we have to. And as for Bush and that ghoul Cheney, to paraphrase Monty Python, "We fart in your general direction!"

10. My son is in college
so your donations are very meaningful. I know how tight it is. I am amazed at how efficient my son is with what little money I can give him. He is politically indifferent, cynical ... but the kind of guy who would cut his arm open to give you a transfusion.

My 16 year old, on the other hand, wanted me to run up to NYC with him to get arrested! "Leave nothing with the name Trump on it standing!" was his rallying cry. (He loves Bill Mahr.) OK so he's a little extreme. He's a bass player. Writes angry metal music. Is disgusted by Bush. You get the picture. Good kid.

Its crunch time, as you say. For me, this is very personal. I don't want my generation of Americans to leave your generation a mountain of debt and a scorched earth.

12. I was thinking about the children that were " pulled " on stage
after the RNC ended and I thought to myself , " there is a chance that they could be drafted within the next 10-15 years if another Repug is elected into office " . I myself am very excited about Election Day ... Its good that your 16 year old is so interested in politics . I am 24 myself and my mom does not understand why I am so interested in politics . In fact , we got into an argument about it the other night . It was to the point that I was crying and I told her " thats just how I am , I am interested in politics and I am not gonna change for you or anybody else . Excuse me for wanting to know what is exactly going in the world besides what is on UPN and etc . I am not gonna change , and if you don't like it , tough ! " So I salute you in supporting your children's political interests .

13. I can understand that you are worried ... btw Welcome to the DU :)
After the 2000 Election , we see how the BFEE will go at all costs to get what they want . Anything is possible . But this time around , more people see the light . And if Bush tries to pull something this time , it will be so obvious . I just pray that if he does try to pull another Florida that we as Americans will get up and actually do something this time .

14. Let me put on a little James Brown for ya.
Whoa-oa-oa! I feel good, I knew that I would, now
I feel good, I knew that I would, now
So good, so good, I got you

Whoa! I feel nice, like sugar and spice
I feel nice, like sugar and spice
So nice, so nice, I got you

When I hold you in my arms
I know that I can't do no wrong
and when I hold you in my arms
My love won't do you no harm

and I feel nice, like sugar and spice
I feel nice, like sugar and spice
So nice, so nice, I got you

When I hold you in my arms
I know that I can't do no wrong
and when I hold you in my arms
My love can't do me no harm

and I feel nice, like sugar and spice
I feel nice, like sugar and spice
So nice, so nice, I got you

Whoa! I feel good, I knew that I would, now
I feel good, I knew that I would
So good, so good, I got you
So good, so good, I got you
So good, so good, I got you
HEY!!

15. I am so glad that is over, too.
This has been a really rough week and I have also had to babysit my friend, though I didn't mind it, who was also suffering terribly. I am just so scared, seeing the eyes of those true believers. They believe the lies. Will we win this? She and I really need to know.:scared:
