,...I am involved,...

,...I am conflicted,...

,...I am human,...

I am tired.

Respond if you are,...anywhere near to what I think and feel.

4. You are right where they want you...
Hang in there. More and more people are waking up to (as I used to say, back in the day) "smell the bong water." I think Kerry is actually winning and all this about him being behind is to get you to feel the way you do right now. I take it you are in a swing state, as am I, and are feeling the pressure.

I think the right is seriously underestimating the grass roots movement taking place in this country at the moment. Remember in the 60s and 70s, the young people were pretty much alone in the opposition to the war and the rest were lemmings. Now, young people AND THEIR PARENTS oppose it - that's a pretty good sized voting bloc.

I know the Bush/Cheney shrines are a bit annoying, but they are going down. Don't believe the pundits/media whores. If you have to, take a break from the news (which stands for Nothing Ever Worth Seeing). You will recharge those batteries. :)

8. Oh,...I am a fighter!!!! "Give up" is NOT within my vocabulary.
Edited on Sat Sep-18-04 07:14 PM by Just Me
But,...taking safe haven with other "kindred spirits",...energizes "Just Me".

It's okay to "give in" for awhile,...while never, ever giving up!!!

Just needed others' tears, sweat, integrity and fears to keep me going

9. I hear you. I just read the post
entitled "who killed my son in Iraq?" Reading that makes you think this election should be a landslide for Kerry. Here: :pals: Consider yourself hugged.

12. Takes aLOT of energy to be all that,...
,...which, I confess,...am, too (with respect to being opinionated, vocal, practical, "tenacious" *giggle).

I admire and am energized by such bottomless passion.

14. Yes, it does take a lot of energy
which is why I'm tired.

I'll rest on Nov. 3. Hopefully, it will be a peaceful sleep. :-)

15. Disabled but fighting
Edited on Sat Sep-18-04 08:18 PM by GeorgeBushytail
Hang in there, Just Me. I've never seen Democrats so unified and passionate. And our man is just beginning to show his teeth.

I've been an activist all my life but am sidelined from most face-to-face activism by my epilepsy and Central Pain Syndrome (google it if you want a bummer). I had to do something to fight * so I have been working on a viciously satirical website with my daughter:
hppt://www.georgebushytail.com . It's something I can do with my limitations. I can't just sit here and do nothing. I have to set an example of activism to my daughter. Some days I can get a page done; some days I'm not well enough.

Don't try to take the weight of the election on your shoulders. Do what you can. Take breaks. Enjoy the little victories.
