What ethnicity is Andy Sidaris?
Who, you ask? The director/producer/writer of such 80s films as "Mailbu Express"--inventor of the blonde/bikini/bazooka genre of soft-porn action film. Shamelessly copied by Tarantino at times...

So does anyone know his ethnic background? Or anything at all about him?

Or at least her brain is. She's a nut. In a good way. :)

4. Seems like a consensus
But "Sidarous" is an Egyptian name (Coptic Christian). Some Arab friends of mine were saying there's a particularly Arab kind of sleaze about his productions, so we were wondering.

7. If it's the blonde/bikini/bazouki genre, he has to be Greek.
;)

5. Did he really do that?
I bet the "Grecian Formula" will be used in tonight's debate, BTW...

12. Considering he's a Chicago boy...
...he could be Lithuanian.

That 'is' suffix is a clue.

16. Mainly if he has Egyptian-Coptic background
But I'm also interested in his politics. I just bought a $1.99 copy of Malibu Express the other night and I was impressed with its subversive irony, Reagan-era vintage.

From a interview with "Underground Online"

About 34 years. I think my wife was 11 when I married her . I'm a southern boy. Nah, she was a Brooklyn Jewish princess from New York, and I'm a Greek from Louisiana.
