8. I heard a good George Harrison story. When he was dying in the hospital,
friends would come visit and George would pretend he was sicker than he was and call them close so he wouldn't have to shout and then he'd rip off his gown and scare the crap out of them with all the tubes sticking in him and a give a big laugh. He just wanted to break the ice, let them know he was still George. He would also sing Beatles song with his buddies that visited. He loved being a beatle.
I love Band On The Run. It's the first music I can remember listening to, ever, so there is a childhood nostalgia factor. But, I still love it even now. I have to get that on CD.
as noticable on the vinyl? Cause I don't like the production on the disc at all. I think it says in my CD booklet that George was none-too-pleased with it in the long run.
I think "Plastic Ono Band" is much more listenable. Everytime I hear the church bell toll on the radio I expect "Mother" to come on, it's always a goddamned AC/DC song.
16. I think George would say Lennon's albums were better
I would vote for Plastic Ono Band with Working Class Hero (a song you still can't hear on the radio unless they bleep it) et. al. over All Things Must Pass myself.
