If you include Connecticut as Red Sox versus Yankees or Mets country.

Kerry was born in Denver.

Kerry = Red Sox
Bush = Yankees

Steinbrenner cheats, pays off the umps (nobody ever dare mention this), thinks he's entitled to his own way, etc., and so does Bush.

by opening up his wallet? If you're suggesting that he's pays off umpires, you should probably post links to support that. Hate the game, not the player. Until there is a cap instituted, why wouldn't somebody spend the money to win games?! Last I checked, that was the objective.. winning games. btw.. the Sox aren't exactly spendthrifts themselves. Oh yeah.. John Henry voted against a salary cap.
