Marvin, the lounge-cat :)
Edited on Thu Oct-21-04 03:40 PM by SoCalDem
He's the lounging-est little guy.. Here he is hanging the "back end" over the top of the couch.. I just loved the way he lined up his feet..Had to snap a pic or two.. He was NOT amused.. I woke him up :)

1. awwww... that's so CUTE!!
Did you know that black cats are actually white cats a big black spot?? In other words, all cats 'start off' white, and then depending on what genes they have/don't have, they end up looking the way they do... :)

I had to teach a class in cat coat color genetics.. that was the hardest concept for the kids to grasp!

I'm at work, but I'll have to post pics when I get home. One of my cats has the same coloring: the white face with a pink nose and white paws. You kitty sure looks happy sitting there! :D

Here is is when he was a few weeks old..

10. GET OUT! Those kitties are cute
I love the one stray siamese in there.

We had a siamese who was knocked up by the neighborhood tom and all (8) of her kitties were black or black and white. It was an odd group.

15. Marvin was a bad boy last night.. He chases Amber
and since she is declawed, she hollers at the top of her lungs.. I was at bowling, and when I got home, he was locked in my office.. My husband got tired of listening to Amber squawking, so he gave Marvin a time-out..

When I opened the door, he was sitting on my desk chair with his little ears down..

I usually squirt him with water when he chases her..

The other cats who don't have claws do not run, so he leaves them alone, but she runs...and he cannot resist..
(we have 3 declawed:(..) and 6 that aren't..

16. Male and Female are declawed
and Trin and Streak aren't.

Yet, Male throws her weight around constantly.

She's always slapping Trin and Streak, and they run away from her.

Guess we know who is the dominate cat, eh?

17. We had a tuxedo cat named Charlie
whose Daddy was probably the neighborhood Siamese and he looked a lot like that. Thin built, long legged, mouthy and very intelligent. He used to ride around on my brother's shoulder. He was a good mouser too.
