Hey DU'ers, when you go buy a toy for your dog go to Goodwill
they usually have a big selection of stuffed animals and their cheap and of course it goes to a good cause, my dog destroys a stuffed animal within a week and pets store toys are no more durable if you're careful in your selection

3. What is Goodwill's stance on gay rights? I didn't know they had one.
I know Salvation Army hates gays, but Goodwill too?

6. Hey that's my idea !!!
Hank's favorites are his Free Willy, his Tropical Barney and his Winnie the Pooh.

He also has an affinity for Elmo's for some odd reason.

You can get 10 nice, sturdy stuffies at any Goodwill for the price of 1 at a pet store. Just make sure you remove any chokeable parts like hard plastic eyes or noses.

9. avoid petco avoid petco
something creepy about petco the iams pet food is a Sinclair advertiser or hopefully was. My dog got mange there because they don't clean thier clippers.hard to prove unless you find a dog law practice. thift stores are where it's at much better than some huge chains and the clothes are cleaner.......strange but true

10. i work for a small chain, about 10 stores,
offering pet supplies, in western washington and i can tell you for a fact that management of most stores are extremely anti-gay and very very very anti anything to do with animal rights. They hate the humane society. At one store, it was suggested that they have a matching donation program for homeless pets, which the management killed as the money might get into the hands of the humane society, and "their ultimate goal is to eliminate the private ownership of pets".

It blows my mind that they have such contempt for gays and animal rights people, as that probably makes up at least half of their customer base, if not more.

Needless to say, i am looking for another job.
