I gotta get out of this world for the sake of my sanity. Just gonna sit in my van and read, and play my guitar, and listen to the wind, and watch the ravens, and watch the stars, and drink in the silence.

...and think about how to make a better life than this one.

From the Dylan song (though it'll always be a Hendrix song to me), 'All Along The Watchtower', for many weeks the line "There must be some kinda way out of here" has rarely left my head. I think that means something.

I don't post enough for many of ya'll to even know me, let alone miss me, but do me a favor and pretend like you do for the next 10-15 minutes. Okay? Thanks.

...Yeah, I guess I am feeling kind of alone and lonely. Funny, I don't feel that way much when I'm in the wilderness. If I don't come back, quoth Freddy Mercury, "carry on, carry on..." :-)

2. I did a Vision Quest in Moab. An amazing experience.

I was with a profesional. We did 10 days together. Four preparation days. Then five days I was alone, with no food, just water.

The desert will cleanse your soul.
