After 28 months on DU, I just bookmarked my first thread.

Aren't I a clever lad? It was the thread on war movies. Lot's of titles there I want to rent. Anybody have any experience with Netflix?

3. happ with netflix so far

once they resent the DVD we had just returned, but otherwise they are working out fine. We only have one TV station (NPR), so our choice was cabel, dish, netflix, or nothing.

4. I love Netflix and it is

true...you can have a DVD out forever! I live in St Louis and since they have a distribution center in the Lou I get my movies very quickly. It is also very convenient...I don't have a car and get around by bus so now I don't have to bother with getting by a Blockbuster and as a self confessed DVD ADDICT I am not tempted to buy used DVDs from Blockbuster either....


If you are into first run movies I suggest you get your name on the list as soon as it is announced that a movie is coming out on DVD. One of my friends did this for LOTR: The Two Towers and she had it at her house on the day it came out on DVD.

Again since I am in St Louis where they have a distribution center I may get my movies more quickly than those in other parts of the US.
