Comparing someone to excrement can't be misinterpreted, isn't strictly considred 'unacceptable' and has no gender, race or disability connotations. Calling somebody a turd is funny, socially acceptable, and only offends the person at whom I've aimed the offense.

I also use asshole, if I'm not in mixed company. Again, it has no gender, race or disability connotations. I try to be inoffensive to everybody else when I'm really attempting to offend only one person!
