Years ago, before Nutella was available here, I brought some back from Germany. That was the real stuff, with Deadly Palm Oil and a few other things they don't use any more. I think we polished off at least one jar on the plane trip home.

I also brought back some Belgian Butter Waffle Cakes that had so much butter in them that they left grease in the package and on your fingers.

Brought this stuff into the office, and one or two brave souls tentatively tried a taste.

Ecstasy! And more tried. People begged me to get the stuff out of there before they killed themselves pigging out on it. They couldn't stop themselves.

One woman left work early, such was her tempatation.

Think of the carnage if there was a jar of peanut butter around?

Smucker's or another one with no added filler and the oil on top...

and to tell you the truth I fear Nutella a great deal more than any other addiction-forming substance on earth.

FLuffernutters and potato chips sandwiches with gobs of mayo (two or three at a sitting) used to be my thang and it took years of electro-shock aversion therapy to get off that kick.
