It seems that council's displeasure with a recent article I wrote, which basically revealed what a bunch of useless tits most of them are, managed to piss them off.
During the reports, one councillor decided that she would express her displeasure with the article. After that, Item G was added to the agenda, which was a "Insult HEyHEY motion", which seemed to have passed.
I sat there, and a councillor spoke up in defence of me and a yelling match ensued. The whole time I tried not to laugh.
However, during question period I asked them if they felt it as appropriate to use time during an in session council meeting to open dialogue and express concerns regarding professional matters with the local media. Especially considering I can't speak up in defence of myself, cowards.
It appears as though they think it is because, get this, it's a "public meeting."
Yes assbag, you're not supposed to be dealing with issues for taxpayers, you're supposed to be complaining about your press coverage.
These idiots, it's my last week, is it not stupid to pull this shit during a reporter's last week?
Anyway, wait until they see next week's editorial.
