4. Uh-oh, I may be alone LOL

Gooseheads are fans of the best band that no one has ever heard of, Goose Creek Symphony. They put on amazing live shows that ususally last three to four hours.

5. I can't say that it surprises me

that there aren't any Gooseheads around. Most people have no idea who they are which is really odd since they've been around since 1970.

A few years ago I drug my sister and brother-in-law to a Goose show in Nashville. Neither of them had ever heard of the Goose either. Now they get mad at me if I go to a show and don't check with them first to see if they want to go also.

6. I love Goose Creek...

I grew up listening to them with my dad. They did a free show for a festival here in Johnson City a few years ago. Quite a crowd showed up. They have a good following up here.

How was it? I hate missing a Goose Creek show. Good thing for me, though, is that they do play around here fairly often.

9. It was great

We got there about three on Friday and started setting up our campsite. About the time we got set up, folks started playing. There was a wide variety of folks that played Friday, it was an open jam. The Goose did an acoustic show that lasted about two hours and Charlie was on stage by himself for an hour doing solo songs.

Saturday was amazing. The energy running through the crowd was overpowering. Everyone was having a great time. I ended up sitting around a campfire listening to memebers of Bonepony and lots of other fellows playing until the sun came up.

Hope you can make it next year. I heard a rumor that it may be the last GOTL.
