Sometimes I wish Democratic Underground was a real place instead of a virtual one. I would never leave :)

People would judge on appearances too much. Online, we can get to know each others ideas better.

In real life there would be cliques.

All the pretty people would be sitting in one corner. All the smokers would be standing outside. All the old farts would be in another corner, and all the shy people would be standing around, alone.

I like it better this way.
