Weird words that describe Politics
I have this book called "Weird and Wonderful Words" by Erin McKean. Let me tell you about some of them:

Blandiose. An adjective to describe something that wants to be grand (or has pretensions to grandeur) but is only bland. As in, Bush is Blandiose. :)

Chirocracy. A very rare word meaning 'government by physical force." Hmmm, I hope we don't get this.

Clavus. A pain in the forehead, as though a nail were being driven into it, associated with hysteria. I think I had this after the Nov election.

Crapulous. A literary word meaning 'relating to drunkenness or the drinking of alcohol.' Adjective crapulent. Noun crapulence. The pResident is not only full of crap, but crapulous.

Emacity. A fondness for buying things. As in, let's give up our emacity relating to red companies.

Ergophobic. Someone who fears work. As in, I wonder if *'s remarks about "hard work" really reveal that he is an ergophobic.

Flexanimous. An adjective meaning 'having the power to influence, moving, affecting.' As in, hopefully the DU is a flexanimous group, and society is made better because of its existance :)

Ok, that's enough for now.
