4. I would love to say Nebraska being here in Lincoln and a major fan,
but not sure they are there yet. I vote for Oklahoma. Of course if the huskers get to the big 12 championship & win then we will take it all. IMHO

2. Arkansas?????
Can I have some of what your smoking Vermontdem? Those guys almost got their asses handed to them at Bama last week and Bama ain't near the top of the SEC this year. THe Hogs have a pretty east road until they finish withan away game against LSU. If they win that game (and that is a giant if) they have to win an SEC championship game.

No way, the hogs do that. The correct answer to your question is LSU. :)

3. Arkansas
went to Austin and handed Texas a defeat along with 200+ yards rushing. I predicted that Arkansas would win, and I am predicting they will be champs. If you want to talk about close games, Ohio State beat Cinncinnati by 10 points, beat Illinois in double overtime, and scored only 1 offensive touchdown to beat Purdue last year.

9. My husband...
My husband (AWD) would be the first to point out that Ohio State's record IS proof positive that close games do not make you ineligible for a title.

But it should be noted that OSU only beat Cincinnati by 4 points.

10. I thought so
I didn't have the 2002 Schedule at hand so I took a guess, I know the only score that matters is the being ahead of the other team when the final whistle blows. I just used O State as an example to justify Arkansas beating Alabama by a small margin meaning that they could still go to the NC.

13. How about the last 26 seconds last Nov. 29 ?
Maybe Matt Jones has a few more of those up his sleeve. That should be some game down at red stick! Both teams have a long way to go before thinking about that game, however. Good Luck!

14. Don't make me relive it....
that was our payback for our win at Kentucky. IMO the LSU/ARK series is turning into the best rivalry in the SEC east, if only b/c we have had the top two programs in the division the past few years.

Fortunately we get you guys at Death Valley this year. It should be a slobber knocker of a football game.

If OU can get by Texas, I don't think any other team can stop them unless they face K State or Nebraska in Big 12 Championship, but it won't be easy for the to beat OU. But if they can beat Texas, I might vote for OU in the poll.

15. As long as Mack Brown is in charge of Texass....
there is no hope for the shorthorns.

As Chris Simms said to Andre Woolfolk during the combine, "Our coach is afraid of your coach."
