My mother in law just called and is on the phone with my husband. Her son in law (my brother in law) is in Iraq and she said she'd only call if it were urgent. (We rarely ever hear from that side of the family.)

My stomach is doing gymnastics. He went outside to take the call.

Please don't let it be bad. PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE A BAD CALL.

He was hurt. We don't know when it happened or how he's hurt yet. But it was bad enough that he's in a field hospital and going to be sent to a hospital in Germany after that.

I hate this not knowing. I hope it's not too serious.

She was telling us how mad she is that he rides around in an unarmored vehicle and has no body armor. :cry:

He's in Mosul (or was) and is with the Oklahoma National Guard.

On edit, sorry I was so upset I forgot to say thanks to everyone thinking positive thoughts. If you wouldn't mind sending a few that his injuries aren't...horrible or anything. I'd appreciate it.
