Question for computer tekkies
I have an old 300 mghz computer and I want to get a bunch of word processing files off of it. It will take all day if I use floppies in the A: drive to copy them, so . . . . .

If I get an adapter that goes from serial port to USB, and then a USB storage device, should this work? How do I get the computer to send the files to the serial port where I have the USB adapter and USB drive?

Thanks.

2. The external USB drive
should be automatically recognized and appear in the My Computer window. You can then use it like any other drive.

4. Not sure with 98
You may have to reboot, and then the USB drive will be recognized then.
