Say, for instance, that you came into some money that allowed you to live a privileged life.

What would you name your estate, castle, manor, villa, ranch, plantation, etc?

Today, I'm in a playful mood so I would choose....."Giggleswick".

23. Either Cranefield or Heathside
I do have a "hobby farm" and I have toyed with both names.

This part of Wisconsin has many sandhill cranes which are often seen hunting bugs in my pasture and alfalfa...

Heathside because the road in runs along a hilltop which though low by most standards is still a high windyplace and then the farm spreads out along the southwest side of the drumlin.

And it sounds vaguely French, also, which will piss off any of my right wing neighbors...therefore, it's a two-fer! :-)
