I suspect that "Napoleon Dynamite" is a love/hate film. No middle ground. You loved it. I hated it with a passion. But like you said, to each his/her own.

Go make yourself a dang quesadill-a! This movie is so funny because you KNOW people like Kip and Napoleon! And in some weird way, you connect with them too. I could watch this movie over and over again and still laugh my ass off.

...Napoleon Dynamite is an overrated, mostly unfunny, pretty lame movie. But like an above poster said, to each his/her own. And I'm glad I'm not totally alone in not getting the big deal about this film. :hi:
