Do they play more rock on MTV Europe?

I noticed they have more rock bands, more cutting edge rock bands on launch uk....then on normal launch.com.....
Do they play more rock on MTV Europe then on regular american MTV?

It seems like american MTV mainly plays rap.....
on the downside to MTV europe...I heard they play alot of techno and trance?

But it seems like alot of new rock comes out first in uk....i know the strokes first broke over there...cause they were given them more air time....

I believe MTV Europe doesn't play any music at all.

It is just a conglomeration of strange game shows.

i know mtv generally plays shows...but in the off times when they do play music....
is there an off time on mtv europe?

3. there isn't just "one" MTV Europe any more

They localized the affair into MTV France, MTV UK, MTV Germany ...
And each of those has two or three channels.

Anyway, apparently MTV Germany does play some Videos, because they have a list on their homepage:
