I saw your photo on another thread--I'm a native Texan, transplanted to Oregon to attend law school. Loved your shirt! And the hat, natch. First thing people say when they find out I'm from Texas is that they've never met anyone from Texas. No kidding. Then they say I don't have an accent. Well, I don't, but it's funny because without fail, everyone says the same thing! I miss Austin but I love it here. I live halfway between the mountains and the ocean. Gorgeous!

But she's a bitch! (I mean the cat). We're down to four now - had six at one point. Man, you want to talk about a zoo!?!?! 2 males (1 human, 1 feline) and 8 females (3 human, 5 feline)

11. Don't you hate when they get you on the quick of your fingernail.

I don't mind the scratches but that hurts. We have one that seems to have practised getting the quick, she does it everytime.
