1. Also good: The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane,
a Canadian thriller with Martin Sheen as a child molester.

16. Very good choice.
Life lessons I learned from the movie:

Don't give someone a reason to kill me.
Avoid almond flavored coffee/tea.

2. I'm glad you didn't include "Nell"...but "Contact" is my favorite.
Edited on Fri Mar-04-05 12:11 PM by terrya
"Nell" is my least favorite of her movies. Just a silly little movie, IMO.

Robert Zemeckis did a pretty decent job filming Carl Sagan's novel. And Jodie Foster was wonderful in it.

19. Really, I loved Nell!
But I really loved Contact and Lambs as well. I really relate to the Dr Araway character, being a female in a male dominated career field.

I have to admit I did enjoy Nell. Jaay ma guyanja!!

5. Voted for "Contact"
But I probably should have voted for "Silence of The Lambs". Contact seemed like it was made specifically for me.

6. Jodie Foster at the Toronto Int'l Film Festival a few years ago....
This was when "Film Threat" (the best movie magazine ever) was still in paper-print.

So, Foster holds a press conference to promote the movie which screened at the festival, but before she came out, her publicist cautioned the press that she would not talk about John Hinkley, or her connection to the Reagan assassination attempt. Furthermore, if anyone asked her about it, the press conference would be over.

She came out, and Film Threat's Christian Gore got the first question.

"Miss Foster, have you ever been tempted to, you know, get in touch with John Hinkley? I mean, I think it's pretty obvious that he really, really likes you..."

End of conference.

15. I think I've seen her in a couple of made for TV movies.
And she was in "Basquiat"

I have a feeling she's more into motherhood than acting.

18. The Accused
Hard to find a "bad" Jodie Foster movie. She is one of the few actors who decided early on to pick and choose just the right scripts. She's done well.

:P

actually, I voted Little Man Tate, but she's one of my favorite actors, so I'll watch pretty much anything if she's in it.

Backtrack was a decent little-known film she starred in with Dennis Hopper, and a bunch of pink Hostess sno-balls.
