I want to start a thread so people will talk to me...
But I have nothing interesting to say tonight, apparently.

Extra marshmallows in hot chocolate are good, though, on a night that's this damn nasty outside!

1. I'm waiting for someone to pick up their apparently stolen bag
And hot chocolate sounds good, even if it was 65 degrees today.

7. Tell me about an 'apparently stolen bag'
And why you would have that? Sound intriguing!

17. Ah, that makes more sense...
I was thinking it belonged to her, was stolen, and somehow you wound up with it. Hrm.

18. About 2.5 hours ago, some guy pulled in one of my driveways
at least partway. He was probably from the immediate neighborhood, judging from his car and the fact that another guy pulled up and started shooting the shit with him.

He had a massive bag (like a piece of luggage - on wheels) with him and said that he'd found it by the side of the road just below my house. I told him I'd call the security patrol to pick it up if I couldn't track down the owner.

I rifled through the bag - which had lots of papers and personal photos- and found one phone number. Called it (long distance) and it turned out to be the owner's relative. The owner then called, and I'm waiting for her to come and pick it up.

She didn't realize it was missing. She said it was in her trunk. I suggested that she might want to check to see if someone had popped the lock on her trunk and if anything else was missing.

She asked about a bunch of stuff that wasn't in there, so I'm thinking she might not be entirely grateful.

25. Wow....
That sucks for her, and actually was more like what I'd imagined in the first place. Hopefully nothing super-important and irreplaceable. Bummer.

;)

They're with dad when I sleep and either in school or daycare during the week. I'm a heavy sleeper though and a natural night person.

That's cool that you get time to catch up on sleeping. I have a friend who's a pediatric nurse and she keeps all kinds of nutty hours... I don't know how you guys do it!

Though I feel blah today since I dressed up in shirt and tie all to not go to my internship, it snowed so my ride downtown decided not to go, thus I didnt, but hey I tried the new Sicilian Meat Pizza from Papa Johns and it was good. Got a comm college orientation tommorow too.

As long as you bring your own sleeping bag and mattress. We're already crashing at someone else's place, and our daughter is sleeping on our bedroom floor. But the whole living room floor and basement are still free, and we could hide you down there! ;)

I know how you feel sometimes!! But I think sometimes it is nice to have what I call "empty brain" rather than "noisy head". Noisy head can be aggravating!

Empty brain does beat noisy head, for sure... I get noisy head driving home from work. Not nearly as much as I used to since I have mostly resolved some large guilt that was plaguing me for a while.
