A group of parents is protesting Montgomery County (Maryland's) adoption of a new sex ed video which shows how to put a condom on a cucumber!



(it's a rw site so I don't care if I use their bandwidth)



it will be shown to 10th graders. Among the parts the protest dislikes is "Remember to use a condom for oral, anal, and vaginal sex" "When used correctly and consistently, condoms can be about 98% effective" "Look for condoms with spermicide" "Choose latex condoms...that have a reservoir tip, this is a little space at the end of the condom that catches semen""


Personally I think the cucumber things is BAD. Talk about setting expectations too high! That thing is frigging HUGE!! Personally I think any 16 yo girl who expects that cuke from her boyfriend will be so disappointed she'll remain celibate until college!

They should be showing it something like...a carrot.

rightwingers piss me off. Here we are, trying to do our best to actually prepare kids, and welcome them into the world, and give them some necessary stuff that will help them stay alive and healthy, and the rightwingers, like they always do, come out of the woodwork to make sex into something evil, diststeful, and fearful, that no one should know about because, apparently, God will give all the knowledge needed to the woman on her wedding night. The guy, of course, a decent rightwing Christian male, will have already learned everything he needs to know from the many women he's had, including probably prostitutes.

2. This is going to make everyone feel inferior

The boys will look at that be disappointed because they are not that well endowed.
And the girls expectations will never be met after seeing that
