Would you take a bullet for an historical figure?

If you could (cue "The Twilight Zone" theme), would you sacrifice your life so that a slain historical figure would live?

I know I'd take the bullet(s) for RFK or Rev. King--the political and spiritual leaders of the Left, respectively, would have given us our best chance to peacefully end the American Empire. I'd die for that.

On the other hand, if I did take a bullet for him, I think I'd still be pissed off at getting shot at all.
