Do all female DA's on Law & Order Get Degrees from Modeling School?
Where the hell do the female prosecutors on Law & Order come from?

Why do the men look like Jerry Orbach and the women look like models?

What a weird Law & Order universe it must be.

4. LOL!! I had to google to see which one she is
I don't think she's as bad as the SVU ones. The one that played Alex Cabot - spoke so rigidly and exactly. I always just patiently waited for her to finish her lines.

THen the one after her - I had high hopes for her. Then last night I watched and she said "your honor I..." and the next person did not cut her off, it was as if that was all that the script called for.

So with these people, I am just soooo aware that it's acting. That's the annoying part.

I will have to watch your personal un-fave to see what I think about her. :)

2. it's the only thing I really dislike about that show

that is pure sexist crap. Also, the ladies are always wearing body=-hugging halter-type shirts which I never see in a professional setting.

But, to be fair, they did have Chris Noth and Benjamin Bratt, neither one of whom was too hard on the eyes. :D

5. Well Benjamin Bratt, I never noticed him until I saw
Miss Congeniality. Not that I liked the premise of that movie particularly.

But seeing Sandra Bullock use self-defense on him, I thought that was kind of interesting ...

6. Point taken about Chris and Benjamin, but...
did they ever dress sexily? I don't remember that...

I quit watching that show long ago.

11. it's not sexist to say someone is good-looking
notice I did not pick apart their body parts which would be hard to do since as a previous poster pointed out, they don't dress them to jiggle.

9. I have to disagree
Maybe the DA's suck but Olivia on SVU dresses very appropriate and is a fabulous actress, also very beautiful.

8. Well, the requirement for beng a female city attorney
in my town is that you must sleep with the County Judge Executive.

The position is nothing more than a repository for his mistresses.

Granted, they aren't as good looking as the Law & Order babes but this ain't Hollywood.

Males can buy the job outright with cash so there is no sex appeal requirement for them.
