With all of the funeral planning and appointing a new guy, they have their hands full. My mother always taught me to take food to the grieving!:P.

1. Believe me, these guys have cooks & food
Wonder who underwrites the Pope's health insurance. I doubt if any American, other than D.C. reps and the elite class could afford his treatments and deductibles.

6. I have a good insurance plan, but when the August deductible part
comes around, I realize how over priced our medicine is. I could get street drugs for less!

11. Who does insure the Catholic church?
Where do they get their health plan? The monies paid for this Pope's care over the last two decades must have resulted in literally hundreds of thousands of dollars to the medical field.

The average U.S. citizen will not be provided these benefits and will simply die.

4. Don't forget something sweet for the Cardinals.
Perhaps a cake or a pie of some sort:9. Would a "Better than Sex cake" be considered a sin or a breach of celibacy vows? What to do, what to do:7

8. A local deli does great sandwich platters
When my father died, my mother got my stepmother one. Boy, that was the only good thing that came out of my father's passing.

7. Fried Chicken
I grew up in the South, so fried chicken is required at every gathering. Good comfort food, too.

10. you know -- a lot of Catholic churches run food banks ...
And a little something (no need to even open the cans!) would probably be welcome now, as always.
