Tru Calling: a typical show about a typical night shift City Morgue worker
Typical, typical. Some of my best friends are night shift city morgue workers, and they all look like Eliza Dushku.

1. I watched a few episodes of that show...
Because I was a huge Buffy fan back in the day. However, Tru Calling just couldn't really hold my interest, then again, I'm not a guy.

2. Joss Whedon reportedly offered her a "Faith" spin-off from Buffy"...
...and she chose "Tru Calling" instead. A brave, risk-taking career move, but I thought the "Faith" character was GREAT, as well as PERFECT for Dushku, and the only reason I spend five minutes watching "Tru Calling" is because I AM a guy.

I'm sure the creators of the show factored that logic in.
