Well, it's officially Summer here in my part of New England.
The Dairy Queen stand near the ballfield is open for business.

And though it's not particularly warm today, there's a line of people 5 or 6 deep.

Mmmmmmm.... soft-serve ice cream... :)

Seriously, I think the last piles of sand-crusted snow finally melted just last week.

We don't like to waste time around here. 51 degrees with a cool north wind? Dammit, that's ice cream weather! :D

4. We were at the park
in Saratoga yesterday and I couldn't believe it, there were still patches of snow. Winter is stubborn in these parts I guess.
