I took this on the way to an anti Mall-Wart protest outside of Stevens Point:



This means one of three things:

1. The Portage County Repugs are finally following truth-in-advertising laws

2. The Portage County repugs are holding a black market baby sale fundraiser (hence the therm "brats")

or

3. The Portage County Repugs are actually selling their own children on order to raise money.

I went out and shot footage of the protest, in this shitty weather, and I handled it quite nicley.

See, this is what happens when you have acess to good low cost health care, you get a doctor's attention before your sickness becomes a problem, you nip it in the bud early, and you miss less work (or in my case, class) and be more productive in the end.

In this case, I only spent about a half a day unwell enough to stay home

When I first had this a couple of years ago I waited until things became really problemateic. I was out for at least two days.

See, lurking freepers, THAT is a benefit of a universal heath care system. when people get sick, they get to a doctor sooner, get treated sooner, spend les time away sick, and are more productive.


BTW, why would they ground up their own people to make the brats? wouldn't it be kind of counterproductive, making sausage out of people who share their ideaology?
