3. The pencil skirt...just the thing to wear

when you have to haul ass from the back of the cabin to the front and deploy the emergency slide. Nylons, those will stick perfectly to your skin in a fire, melting and requiring a lot of grafting should you live. High heels, must be abandoned if you actually do have to use the slide.

When will they start treating flight attendants like the professional aircrew that they are, and outfit them for the task? Never, probably....the goofy paradigm is too strong to buck.
