1. Isn't it stupid to declare yourself the "World Champion" in a sport
that only your country (or damn close to it) participates in?

(I'm talking about the US and the "World Champion" Superbowl Football and the "World Series" - baseball)

Soccer is truly a "world" sport - yet we treat it as the "special education" of sports . . .

It's for those who have yet to graduate to the higher level sports of rugby, cricket, and croquet (the last compulsarily played with gin and tonic or Pimms at hand).
