3. Even if they don't have parallel bars to leap from?
I haven't decided, so I'm playing devil's advocate.

4. I'll tell you a story
There is a kid in the neighboring town where I live. He's been a gymnast all through childhood and the town Franklin had a state dynasty Gymnastic team that was known nationwide. Well sometime in the 90's the OSHAA(Ohio State High School Athletic Association)decided the gymastics would no longer be a school sport in Ohio.
So the gymnastics program in Franklin became a non scholastic sport and it was then privatly run only. Well this kid named Matt Franklin(Ironic name I know)wants to be a varsity lettering athlete so he chooses wrestling, well this kid had never wrestled before. Anyway his freshman year in high school he finished second at the state championship tournament in the 103lbs weight class.

6. the "pirouette of death"
can be devastating. also, swayze is a def radical.

seriously, though, the techniques in "roadhouse" were much more practical than "gymkata".

if anyone is interested in really tough gymnasts, ck out a MA style called capoeira. developed by escaped slaves in brazil. weapons associated w/ the style are the machete & the straight razor.

seriously.
