I need some computer tech advice/support.

I listen to Air America's stream at work and am having problems hearing it on the crappy speakers. Could someone please suggest a good set of speakers under $100 that will provide quality sound and some volume? Also, how much will my so so sound card affect volume and quality? I work in a noisy warehouse if that helps.

1. Sound card will affect quality greatly, but not for AAR

Given the quality of the internet feeds, I'm guessing it won't matter much what sound card you have, unless of course said sound card wasn't made in this millennium. As for speakers, altec lansing, boston acoustics, and creative make some great speakers. I'm a big Creative fan.

2. get some duct tape and tape the speakers to the top of the bacl of

your chair right behind your ears.. then all you need is an extession cord ..
