How about some dog pictures? (Since I don't have cats)
This is Thunder, the wonder dog (with various hair cuts):

In bed for the night

With his froggy toy that he loves like his own baby

Laying his tired old head on the froggy so that no one can sneak off with it while he's asleep

Protecting his bumble bee baby even though he had been ripping it apart (he'll decide when he's finished with it!)

Hoping that some food falls into his mouth

1. Aww, how cute...
I would love a dog, but they don't seem to be in my fortune. :)

3. Truth is that I've developed allergies to dogs and cats
I used to work in a kennel where we boarded dogs mostly but some cats too. My sister is allergic to cats so I never had one growing up - just dogs. And now I've developed my own allergies to them, so I suppose that once Mr. Thunder has left me, there will be no more furry friends in my future. :(

5. That's horrible!
Isn't there...I dunno...a pill of some type you can take for that? I mean, they have pills for everything these days.

7. I've tried lots of different things
The pills that work best make me terribly tired and the ones that don't make me tired do other weird things to me (like make my nose really sore and dried out).
I keep thinking that maybe if I give my system a break from animals for awhile things might get better. I am suspicious of the kennel exposure overwhelming my system or something.

2. Thunder is lovely.
I pity the fool who tries to take his froggy, though.

Welcome to DU, TheProphetess. :hi:

6. Why, thank you, Heidi
LOL - he is protective of his froggy. He's got a lot of personality.
He will let me "examine" his babies for loose strings and stuffing, but he watches with a careful eye and protests if I try to throw out any of them.

Thanks for the welcome, BTW! :hi:
