I actually feel really strongly about Chappelle for some reason, and really want him to remain successful. Well, I actually have a lot of reasons, but I can't get into them here w/o getting extra-emotional. Strange--I didn't like him at first (just started watching last year). No, I wasn't "offended" by the content of his show, I DO have a sense of humor, goddamnit. It just didn't turn me on. Then, after a bit, I realised that there's nothing else like him on t.v.--or, when you think about it, in the rest of the entertainment world. He's an original. There's so little of that at the moment. He needs to pull his shit together and keep being funny (and high-profile). WE NEED HIM.

Mr. Chappelle is an in-patient in a psychiatric hospital in South Africa, being treated for an undisclosed illness, but not drug-related.
