Most Anticlimactic Star Wars Movie?
Has to be Episode I. A regular yawn fest, that.

2. What I didn't get about episode 1
is that Anakin was this happy go lucky little kid who loved life despite being a slave living on a crappy planet. I mean, this is the future Darth Vader we're talking about here.... he should have had some kind of chip on his shoulder.

3. Yeah, I know.
Yoda was saying "I see much anger in him." And I'm going, "Where? The kid makes Shirley Temple look clinically depressed!"

4. that's what i thought!
i could see if Yoda had said he was sad or depressed or something and those bad feelings lead to the dark side... blah blah blah.. but anger? he really had no reason to be angry until his mom died in episode II

5. Anakin Skywalker (Scream real loud!!)
Well, I agreed at first with this. Then my friend pointed out that when Anakin's mother was killed by sandpeople he did go a bit psycho and killed all of them.

Lucas said in a promo I caught last night that the story is about Darth Vader, and got out of hand in episode 4 and 5 to be too much about Luke and Leia.

PS you said the secret word...

6. what's the secret word?
and yeah, he went psycho with the sandpeople, but that was really the first of Vader we saw in him. All throughout episode I i didn't see anything of the dark side there.

am i a geek?

7. Just missing his mom was enough to produce the anger
While he wanted to be a Jedi, he was still a young child, who needed Mommy around.

8. of course
and i can see how he might be angry because he was freed and she wasn't... i don't know... he just seemed too happy for me, even AFTER he left Tattooine.

10. The secret word is...
Anakin Skywalker

Pee-Wee used that word on an episode of Pee-wee's playhouse.
