If you haven't I recommend catching it cuz it is really such an interesting radio program and it has both sad and funny moments. The story about the police officers and the squirrel had me laughing so hard I had to pull over.

4. Hell yes! Best show on the radio

I love TAL - Ira Glass is amazing. I saw their live show in D.C., "Lost in America," 2 years ago before I was a listener of the show (I just went with a friend who was a big TAL fan). Needless to say, it blew me away and I've been addicted ever since.

5. I love his show

The music is so quirky and the stories are so bizarre.

Especially loved "the little mermaid" story and the story about the Welsh celebrity hound family with the painter hired to do their family portrait who was a "brilliant yet troubled artist." Was a total hoot.

Perfect radio listening for returning home after a weekend jaunt somewhere.

I love the episodes where the premise sounds entirely uninteresting and about ten minutes later you're absolutely enthralled by and sucked into a story.

7. The funniest thing I ever heard in my whole life was on that show.

About a guy who's 2 aunts told him he should give his heart to his mother and get a monkey heart. It was about 2 yrs ago. Maybe it was David Sedaris. Then I also heard a piece about Jerry Springer (I thnk it was on that show,) that brought tears to my eyes. What a good democrat he was. I've loved Jerry Springer ever since...even though that show of his is completely baffling to me.

About the guy from New Mexico...got arrested for graffiti, then (because he's Arab) they suspected he was a terrorist...the whole Rumsfeld connection, etc? That was a TRIP! :wow:
